Craft Cocktails and Endless Chocolate; What Could Be Better?

Come explore two of Boston’s most delightfully-sinful culinary offerings; the South End’s new craft cocktail speakeasy, Wink and Nod, and the decadent chocolate bar at Café Fleuri.

Wink and Nod, which recently opened on March 20th, offers a homey lounge with couch seating and dim lighting to give it that speakeasy feel. Not even a week after opening, the bar has received rave reviews for its attentive staff, spot-on atmosphere, and most importantly, its well-crafted cocktails. Wink and Nod collaborated with pop-up food provider Whisk to create a unique menu with items such a squid ink pasta dish (a favorite at past Whisk pop-ups) and our personal favorite a “fresh Twinkie” dessert. The speakeasy is open from 5pm until 2am and is operating on a first-come, first-serve basis. So don’t call ahead; just give a little wink and nod.

Every Saturday at Café Fleuri, located at the Langham, you can find the all-you-can-eat chocolate buffet. For $42 a pop you can get yourself access to over 100 different chocolate desserts. To celebrate the café’s 25th chocolate bar season, current pastry chef Ryan Pike has brought back desserts popular during each decade the café has been open. Make sure to come satisfy your chocolate cravings at Café Fleuri soon because the chocolate bar won’t be offered past June of 2014.
