After much delay, buyer registration for Boston’s newest and soon-to-be second tallest residential building is set to begin this spring. The project, named the Millennium Tower (developed by the same developers as Millennium Place), recently released a website featuring a countdown to the beginning of buyer registration. Beyond the countdown, the website offers little else except for the promise that “this year is the year of the Millennium Tower”.

The Tower is set to offer 56 soaring stories home to 450 luxury condos and 196,000 square feet of retail space. To maintain the luxurious atmosphere the Millennium Partner Developers are known for, residents will have access to a 24/7 concierge, security, expansive underground garage parking, a 24,000+ square foot owners lounge/bar, an exclusive gym, and an indoor swimming pool; not to mention sweeping views of Boston’s Downtown Crossing.

The Tower’s groundbreaking ceremony was held last September after being pushed back from June because of former Mayor Menino’s poor health. Additionally, the project suffered multiple setbacks before ground was even broken; such as a change in developer and a major stall due to disagreements between the developer and the city regarding city tax breaks.

The Millennium Tower is finally coming to fruition and now is the time for buyers to get a jump on registration before properties are all sold out (which, if it’s anything like the Millennium Place, will be in a matter of months!).

Top Three Reason’s to register for the Millennium Tower:

  1. Millennium Place, developed by the same developer as Millennium Tower, was the FASTEST selling luxury condo building Boston has ever seen. 231 homes were sold in a period of 15 months. Millennium properties are hot and buyers are going to want to get their hands on them, fast.
  2. Millennium Tower is located in Boston’s recently rejuvenated Downtown Crossing. This location offers convenience and atmosphere not found in any other Boston neighborhood.
  3. The project includes renovating the historic Burnham Building and incorporating it into the sleek and glassy design envisioned by the Millennium Partner Developers. What buyer doesn’t want to be a part of this exciting convergence of past and future?
